While browsing through a few WordPress articles the other day I stumbled across one titled, “First Steps with WordPress.” The article did a good job familiarizing beginners with WordPress functions and layouts. As I read further in the article I came across a set of questions. It made me ask myself, Why do you blog? I started to think about heranyx.com. My focus and purpose behind creating this blog in the first place. It inspired me to write this post. I want to share my thoughts with you so, here are the questions along with my answers. Read and enjoy them!
1. What am I going to do with this?
I’m going to use this blog to shake things up in the fashion world
2. Who is going to read this?
You, because you’re willing to listen and you’re intrigued by things past the surface
3. What kind of information will I be posting?
It’s fashion from my point of view. My passion, my journey, my thoughts & my visions
4. Why am I doing this?
I view things differently so, I want you to see where I’m coming from. Fashion is my outlet to express myself. It’s not just about the clothes. It’s about creative freedom. It’s about the visions in my head and finding ways to bring them to you. And sometimes I can’t find the words to help you understand. So, I paint pictures through my clothes, through my camera, and through other people. I’m doing this because this is who I am. There’s a story to tell and there’s a new light to share with the world.
5. Who am I doing this for?
I’m doing this for me and for you… the passionate, ambitious, & creative souls
6. How often am I going to be posting and adding information?
I promise not to force a post. I believe in quality over quantity. I write when I’m inspired, I take pictures when I have a vision, and I post when I have something to share with the world.

I will be posting my personal style outfit posts, DIY projects, fashion challenges and things that are happening that I feel are important to share in my day to day life.
4) Why am I doing this?
I am doing this because I want to share my love, my passion, my purpose with the world with the hopes that it gives people guidance and a way to freely express themselves in everything that they do.

I do this for myself because I find this as a great release of my creativity and I do it for the viewers that need that person they can relate to and feel that they are really absorbing this information and applying it in their lives.

I always ask myself. What Im going to do with all the information on the blog as Im blogging for fun, but I have notice that people find my blog because they want to learn about fashion. Im not a stylist or fashionista but I wish the information they find in my blog can be helpful.
I also agree with you, I dont force myself for posts. Some days Im blank and I dont write, but some days its seems that creativity strikes me and I have 3 posts on mind.
You see sometimes it happens just like that. I believe your blog is helpful and it hits the right people. The information you have to share is the highlight of somebody’s day..or week. Keep blogging!!

I would eventually like to generate income from my blog. Being able to share my life experiences and my naughty side is good fun and helping other people through it is great; and if I can make money from that… even better.

People who like to read diary styled blogs. It’s cool to be able to read “How To’s” but it’s also fun and relaxing to get a sneak-peak into people’s private lives and personal thoughts.
3. What kind of information will I be posting?
I am always developing myself as a person. So I will be posting things that help me develop in the realm of sensuality, hopefully to my reader’s pleasure and benefit.
4. Why am I doing this?
It’s fun and I’ve always enjoyed public diary writing. It gives me an opportunity to really be myself- or at least mostly.
5. Who am I doing this for?
I am doing it for myself and for the enjoyment of my potential readers.
6. How often am I going to be posting and adding information?
I like to write from the heart. I can tell when something I have written sounds forced and I won’t even read it. If I won’t read it, then I know my followers won’t want to read it. I do want to be consistent though, so I do my best to put something out at least once a week (but it often ends up being more).

Some never have and some can’t figure out how to fit their happiness into “life”. hi hera: finally getting a chance to reply! very nice article. i blog at http://www.levelsofbeauty.com and i blog because it’s a creative outlet for me and i think that i have some insight that may be helpful for someone else. i’ve had a love of beauty in all its forms (cosmetics, music, dance, theatre, etc) for my entire life and i want to share and educate people about that love.
who is going to read this? i imagine that anyone that has an interest in makeup, makeup techniques, music, dance, theatre, etc. will come by a peruse my posts! because this is a beauty blog, most of my posts concentrate on makeup but i do occasionally put up a post about beauty on other levels, particularly the spiritual. why do i do this? i do this with the hope that my opinions, skills and sometimes philosophical musings not only entertain but perhaps teach, inspire and help others to explore their creative potential. i particularly want to encourage ‘mature beauties’ to think outside of the box and to not blindly follow conventional wisdom about what we can/cannot wear or do because of our age. how often will i be posting? originally, i had high hopes of posting at least 4-5 times a week! however, my life has undergone and continues to undergo some fairly major changes that have/are impacting heavily on my ability to even stick to a three post a week schedule, so at this point i am posting rather sporadically. in time, i am hoping to get back to a more regular posting schedule.
